LSA Digital Awarded the Eglin Wide Agile Acquisition Contract (EWAAC)

LSA Digital has been awarded a prime position on the Eglin Wide Agile Acquisition Contract (EWAAC).

What EWAAC is

EWAAC is a $46 billion, ten-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract supporting Eglin Air Force Base and broader Department of Defense initiatives. It exists to accelerate the acquisition of emerging capability: agile development, digital engineering, artificial intelligence, software modernization, and armament innovation.

Who it supports

The vehicle allows us to deliver capability rapidly across:

• Eglin AFB and its major directorates, including AFLCMC/EB, the Armament Directorate
• The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL)
• The Air Force Nuclear Warfare Center (AFNWC)
• Special Operations Command (SOCOM)
• The Department of the Air Force (DAF) and the Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC)
• Other DoD agencies focused on weapons system research and development, sustainment, and rapid innovation

Task order awards on EWAAC move considerably faster than traditional acquisition. Competitive proposals average 81 days, and awards have been made in as few as 31. For work that needs to begin this fiscal year rather than next, that difference is the entire point.
